Orphan Help

Since traveling to Guatemala and Uganda, I've become a firm believer in child sponsorship.  I have personally met many children who are benefiting from the funds their sponsor provides.  Sponsored children get shoes, clothes, at least one meal a day (provided by the school), and a chance at an education that will give them "a hope and a future."  I sponsor two boys through Children's HopeChest.  They both live in Swaziland and are part of the Beveni Carepoint.

In September, a team from the U.S. is traveling to Swaziland to work at the carepoint and bring supplies to the children.  However, there is an opportunity now to send supplies ahead, in a huge container that's being shipped from the U.S.  If we can send supplies in this container, we can provide so much more than could be taken over in luggage.  We have 72 hours to raise money to buy the supplies that will be sent in the container.  I hope you will consider giving.  Your sacrifice can provide basic medical supplies, school supplies, personal care products, as well as fun items for the kids.

Here's how you can show true religion by loving the orphans (James 1:27):
1. Click on this link to HopeChest: https://secure.pursuantgroup.net/pursuant4/hopechest/chcselect/donation.asp
2. Indicate the $$$ you wish to give Your gift will be tax deductible.
3. **VERY Important** in the NOTES section write: BEVENI SUPPLIES

If you cannot give financially right now, please pray that others' hearts will be opened to give and that God will provide the increase.
"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!" (2 Cor. 9:7-15)
