Misplaced Satisfaction

I noticed this verse on my desk today: "Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, O Lord, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days" (Ps. 90:14).  I definitely need this truth today - that the Lord is the source of all joy and gladness, not my current situation, however happy or painful it may be.  The steadfast and unfailing love of the Lord is the only thing that can give me joy and gladness that never end.  Oh, to find my satisfaction in God's unfailing love and not go searching for my joy in other places.
