Praying the Psalms

My Thursday night Bible study just started a study on John Piper's book Desiring God.  I am really excited to learn about this concept; a lot of the ideas are new for me.  One of the suggestions he gives for the group study is to pray the Psalms together, paying special attention to the language of pleasure (or hedonism) expressed in them.  I got this variation on Psalm 103 in my email today and took his suggestion to pray it aloud.  I found it especially inspiring and thought you might, too.
Let all that I am praise the LORD;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the LORD;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
The LORD gives righteousness
and justice to all who are treated unfairly.
(from Psalm 103)
